Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist in meal preparation for special events or catering as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management. Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.

Requirements

Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
