We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain food safety and quality.
Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and kitchen protocols.
Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
Experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with fellow staff members.
