We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and consistency, ensuring a high standard of food quality and safety. Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred, and a passion for food preparation and service is essential.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations Ensure all food handling procedures meet health and safety standards Serve dishes promptly and professionally to guests, ensuring presentation meets expectations Follow proper food storage procedures to prevent contamination or spoilage Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service hours Adhere to all restaurant policies, including sanitation, safety, and hygiene protocols

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a line cook in a restaurant setting Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent understanding of meal preparation techniques and presentation skills Good communication skills for effective teamwork and customer service Knowledge of the food industry trends and culinary techniques is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed during shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.50-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
