We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook with strong experience in

East Asian cuisines

to join our culinary team. This is a key role in delivering authentic, high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about cooking and have a deep understanding of East Asian ingredients, techniques, and presentation. You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth kitchen operations while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and consistency.

Duties:

Prepare and cook menu items with a focus on East Asian recipes, flavours, and techniques Ensure timely preparation of all dishes to meet service and delivery demands Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work environment Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage Assist with receiving and storing food supplies, especially perishable ingredients Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service Monitor and record cooking times and temperatures for quality control Help onboard and train new kitchen staff in proper techniques and kitchen standards

Requirements:

Experience preparing East Asian cuisine (e.g., Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Southeast Asian)

is essential

Proven background in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking methods, and ingredient handling Solid understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene standards Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure Excellent teamwork and communication skills Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Passion for authentic flavorus and culinary excellence

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
