Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality.
Supervise kitchen staff during service to ensure smooth operations.
Manage food inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
Adhere to food safety regulations and proper handling techniques.
Collaborate with team members to create an efficient workflow.
Assist in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.
Experience
Previous experience in a line cook or similar role within the food industry is preferred.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service.
Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities.
Familiarity with restaurant management practices and team management skills.
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
