Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices are followed at all times.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling best practices.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals for guests.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
