We are seeking a strong, customer focused Dispatcher with Prestige Limousine, a division of Greater Edmonton Taxi Service, tappCONNECT.
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide exceptional customer service to our clients as you facilitate the reservation process. You will not only be responsible for booking corporate accounts but also leisure and fun trips.
We are a 24/7 operation, candidates should be flexible in working mornings or afternoons weekdays and weekends as required.
Responsibilities and duties:
Respond to a high volume of inquiries in a friendly, enthusiastic, prompt and professional manner.
Provide timely, accurate and courteous customer assistance of information and availability to clients or potential clients inquiring about a transportation booking.
Provide clients with service and package descriptions, documenting reservations and client specific needs and accurately entering the necessary data into the computer system.
Ensure price quotes are correct.
Learn common destinations in the geographic area served by the company.
Communication with drivers on bookings.
Assist in achieving personal and team related revenue and departmental goals. Work with management to generate new business and follow up on new leads.
Perform miscellaneous projects as needed (for example assisting other departments in the collection of driver documentation).
Assist call takers for our cab division, as needed, during peak hours.
Key Competencies and Qualifications:
High School Diploma.
Customer service experience a must
Previous reservationist or call center experience preferred.
Limousine and transportation industry experience preferred but not required.
Bi-lingual and multi-lingual shall be viewed as an asset.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to communicate ideas and recommendations to clients and drivers.
Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills. Ability to create alternative solutions to problems.
Excellent time management skills. Able to work under pressure
Position involves a large amount of verbal communication, by phone or email, with a diverse group of individuals.
Work requires the ability to follow instructions and apply acquired knowledge in responding to inquiries and requests. Strong attention to detail to prevent errors.
Sales experience is a plus.
