Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Limestone CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Brampton. The ideal candidate will have experience operating CNC machinery, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and related equipment. This role involves programming, setting up, and maintaining CNC equipment to produce high-quality limestone components. Candidates should possess strong mechanical knowledge, blueprint reading skills, and familiarity with manufacturing processes to ensure precision and efficiency in production.

Duties

Operate CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and stamping presses to produce limestone parts according to specifications. Program CNC equipment using CAM programming and G&D&T standards to ensure accurate machining processes. Set up machines, including tooling, fixtures, and materials handling equipment like forklifts as needed. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment, including Fanuc controllers and programmable logic controllers. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models (SolidWorks) for accurate fabrication. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and quality standards. Conduct quality control inspections throughout the manufacturing process to maintain high standards. Assist in fabrication, assembly line tasks, and materials handling within the manufacturing facility. Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or similar equipment within a manufacturing or factory setting. Strong knowledge of CNC programming, CAM programming, GD&T principles, and blueprint reading. Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and tooling setups. Mechanical aptitude with experience in fabrication, welding, stamping presses, press brake machines, and materials handling tools like forklifts. Ability to read CAD drawings using SolidWorks or similar software. Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments including calipers and micrometers for quality assurance. Basic math skills necessary for machine setup and measurement calculations. Prior factory or warehouse experience preferred; familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, packaging, assembly line operations, and fabrication is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with safety consciousness at the forefront.
