Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Wire Harness Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling wire harnesses according to specifications and ensuring that all components meet quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical wiring, schematics, and the ability to work with various hand tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

Assemble wire harnesses by following detailed schematics and specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to complete assembly tasks. Perform soldering and ensure connections are secure and meet IPC 610 standards. Conduct inspections of completed assemblies for quality assurance. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to assembly processes. Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow in the manufacturing environment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.

Skills

Proficient in PCB assembly and surface mount technology. Strong understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and electrical wiring principles. Familiarity with IPC 610 standards for electronic assembly quality. Mechanical knowledge with experience using calipers, ohmmeters, and other measuring instruments. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on assembly processes. Skilled in soldering techniques and the use of hand tools for precise assembly tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
