Mechanic Needed

Experienced and reliable. Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing sweepers, scrubbers, light trucks, trailers and related equipment (like pressure washers and blowpacks) focusing on mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems, using diagnostic tools, performing oil changes, brake jobs, engine tune-ups, and handling part sourcing, ensuring safety and proper vehicle and machine performance

Duties

Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and techniques Perform repairs or replace faulty components to minimize downtime Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery Follow safety protocols Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and improve operational processes Keep work areas clean and organized

Skills

Proven experience as a mechanic, with knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting methods Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems is preferred Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints accurately Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Valid mechanic's certification or relevant technical training is desirable Physical ability to lift heavy parts, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks safely
