Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively while performing cleaning tasks.

Duties

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas. Utilize hand tools as necessary for various cleaning tasks. Conduct heavy lifting when required to move furniture or equipment during cleaning processes. Maintain custodial supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition. Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding any maintenance issues or supply needs. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests from facility occupants promptly and professionally. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, contributing to the overall upkeep of the premises. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with time management techniques to prioritize tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and coworkers. Experience using various cleaning products and equipment safely is an asset.
