Job Description

A Lift Truck Operator is responsible for the safe operation of various lift trucks with attachments while operating equipment in the, Warehouse and Distribution centre. Lift truck operator are responsible for using the proper equipment for the intended tasks being performed. Supports management\xe2\x80\x99s commitment to food safety and quality and compliance to appropriate laws, regulations and standards. Day-to-Day Role:

• Follow all safety and GMP practices / standards.
• Record accurate information, verify counts, sign and complete appropriate paperwork.
• Accurate picking product from various locations and loading onto trailers.
• Unloading trailers/containers and putting product into various locations.
• Communicate issues, operational and safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Complete / submit all required paperwork, as required, in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

• Excellent safety, work, and attendance record with a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in compliance with the guidelines of the Good Manufacturing Principles.
• A valid Lift Truck Operator\xe2\x80\x99s license.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting, standing/walking for
  • extended periods of time, bending, stretching and/or reaching. Able to work at extreme
  • temperature conditions.
• Excellent oral and written skills, visual concentration, manual dexterity.
• Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency and flexibility
• Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
