Job Description

You are the guest\'s gateway to the mountain! You will play an important role in the daily interaction of guests utilizing the lifts. You will ensure the proper, efficient, and courteous loading and unloading of our guests. You will inspect, record, and report the condition of all lift machinery. You will naturally provide excellent customer relations and have an extensive knowledge of current activities and events. You will be flexible with hours and able to function in a Guest Services capacity when necessary. As with other departments, a smile and a friendly hello is part of the uniform!

Essential Functions:

• Actively direct the proper and efficient loading of guests of all ability levels. This is accomplished through constant communication, awareness, and decision making.
• Monitor and assist the safe, proper, and efficient unloading of all guests.
• Loading of mountain bikes upwards of 60 lbs. Recommending the proper trails per ability of rider.
• Execute the daily pre-operational inspection of lift machinery to accurately complete a legal lift-log document. Any irregularities are reported to lift maintenance and the log is then filed for future reference in the event of legal matters.
• Foster excellent guest relations through positive interaction with guests each time they load to ensure their return visit.
• Knowledgeably and efficiently administer emergency procedures such as lift breakdown, evacuation, fire, avalanche, and accident reporting.

• Must successfully complete the lift operations orientation/training session.
• Must be available for full time seasonal work.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Guest service experience an asset.
• Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
