We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for swimming and teaching, with the ability to engage students of all ages and skill levels. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swimming instruction, ensuring safety in the water, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups, adapting teaching methods to accommodate various skill levels. Assess students' swimming abilities and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Ensure the safety of all participants by enforcing pool rules and monitoring activities in the water. Maintain a clean and organized pool area, including equipment used during lessons. Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and any concerns. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Requirements

Proficient swimming skills with a strong understanding of various swimming techniques. Previous experience in teaching swimming or working with children is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving pool equipment or assisting students in the water. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students. Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not already held. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Pay: $21.00-$28.00 per hour
