We invite you to come to see what the power of belonging can do for you, your career and your community.Position OverviewReporting to the Aquatics Supervisor, Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring a safe aquatic environment and delivering quality, values based programming in the Aquatic area. Lifeguards will be responsible for providing service and will ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants in the pool and on the pool deck. On any particular work day, lifeguards take a headcount of people swimming and ensure that they are kept safe by calling out to them in case they venture too far or have been in the water for too long. The need to be vigilant at all times is high in this position. In the event of a mishap, they are responsible for performing lifesaving activities such as resuscitation and first aid.The ideal candidate will be available to work flexible shifts including: early morning, days, evenings and weekendCore Responsibilities
