Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified lifeguard / first aider at Tapawingo, Candle Lake. We are an overnight children's summer camp for children 6-16

• Responsibilities

attend and supervise all swim times from the lifeguard chair and be present for all waterfront activities.

• Keep detailed incident reports and be well versed in our emergency protocols.
• fill in Medication Administration Reporting sheets for any campers/staff with medications or health concerns or allergies.
• ensure all medications are distributed at correct time to any campers who come with medications
• administer basic first aid as needed, be responsible contact for any emergency services if need arose
• participate in daily activiites of camp

This is an ideal position for students studying in any healthcare field or for lifeguards who are experienced in first aid. July and August is fulltime on site at camp with three pre-training and team-building sessions in Saskatoon in April, May and June. $3200/month

Qualifications

• CPR Certification
• Lifeguard Certification
• AED Certification
• First Aid C Certification
• Strong organization skills, self motivated, good record keeping
• Highly responsible
• empathetic and caring nature

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $3,200.00 per month
