Job Description

PNGI supports adult individuals with diverse abilities. PNGI is looking for a candidate who is organized, eager to learn, and committed to follow through on actions. We are looking for a kind, compassionate, motivated employee to support our individuals and empower them to reach their goals. The LIFE Empowerment Coach would entail helping with a variety of things from intake meetings, to finding or creating employment for individuals, working to create and expand existing networks, connecting with businesses and organizations on behalf of PNGI and/or your individuals. The LIFE Empowerment Coach would also actively work to create and maintain connections with businesses and different groups within the surrounding community.

Core Functions

To empower the individuals, we coach to live their best lives in all key pillars of LIFE, Learning, Inclusion, Friendship and Employment. This involves providing coaching in a person-centered manner that respects strengths, wishes, needs of the individual assessing our services. To empower the individuals, we coach to reach their employment goals focusing on meaningful work for real pay that reflects the strengths and interests of the person coached. To empower the individuals, we coach to be included in their community in the ways and to the degree that they want to be. Empowering people to be autonomous and independent in the community while fostering healthy natural support networks.
A high school diploma is required as well as a Class 5 Drivers License at time of hiring, and you must have a minimum of 3 references. Training will be provided.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
