Our team is currently looking for a: Life and Living Benefits (LLB) Sales Representative


  • Initiates new business for all product lines, which includes calling leads and following-up on prospects, meeting or surpassing sales objectives, and compiling information to be sent out to prospective members. Answers product questions to attract potential members and makes recommendations about other products, services and referral campaigns.
  • Maintains the individual lines data system in our Broker Management System (BMS), which includes entering new members while ensuring accuracy of information.
  • Responds to telephone or written inquiries and processes required requests relating to LLB sales product and cross department requests. Contacts insurance carriers to provide information, verify application forms, and responds to telephone or written verification and other requests for information.
  • Coordinates the distribution of marketing and introductory kits and health forms. This includes preparing documents and maintaining an effective follow-up system for leads, prospects and referrals via Salesforce.
  • Maintains the LLB carrier data systems and updates member information for all product lines.
  • Actively owning and resolving all customer inquiries, while ensuring the customer effort is minimized.
  • Actively participating within the team unit and independently to continuously contribute to overall business improvement.
  • Submits activity and results reports to keep management informed.


Qualifications
  • A Life Insurance Licence and Accident and Sickness Licence. The Life Licence Qualification Program is required.
  • A minimum of three years\xe2\x80\x99 sales experience, preferably in Life Insurance and Health & Dental.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Superior time management, project management and organizational skills to manage competing priorities.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications, Salesforce is considered an asset.
  • The ability to communicate in French is considered an asset.
