Wainwright is located in a rural setting where Licensed Practical Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team to provide family focused nursing care. Homecare staff provide hands on care for a diverse client group in private homes, community group housing, non-designated Lodge/Manor settings and supportive living facility both in the town of Wainwright and the surrounding community. Required Qualifications:Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications:Ability to meet the physical demands of position required. Competence in relevant technical nursing skills and a willingness to learn new skills as required. Preferred Qualifications:Home Care experience. Good communication skills and the ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.
