Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

with a

minimum of three years of experience

alopecia, acne, skin cancer, and other dermatological conditions

while working alongside

dermatologists and dermatology-focused family physicians

Key Responsibilities:

? Conduct

initial assessments

for new and follow-up dermatology patients
? Educate patients on

skin conditions, procedures, wound care, and post-care instructions

? Follow up on

test results, treatment plans, and ongoing care

? Capture

high-quality clinical images

for patient records
? Monitor and review

lab results

between visits
? Triage

referrals and pharmacy/primary care inquiries

? Administer

subcutaneous injections

(e.g., cortisone) and assist in

cosmetic procedures

(e.g., PRP therapy)
? Prepare and dilute

medications for injection

(e.g., Botox), and set-up for PRP (platelet rich plasma) therapy.
? Perform

various procedures under physician supervision

? Assist in

minor surgical procedures

, including

tray setup and instrument sterilization

? Follow

medical device reprocessing protocols

? Support

quality improvement initiatives

related to patient care
? Manage

pathology and microbiology specimens

? Maintain

accurate and timely documentation

using

OSCAR EMR

? Assist

Medical Office Assistants (MOAs)

with administrative tasks

Qualifications & Requirements:

LPN license (required)

Minimum

three years of clinical nursing experience and experience with phlebotomy.

Experience with:

Surgical tray preparation

Intradermal injections

Phlebotomy experience

Cosmetic injectables

(e.g., Botox & fillers)
