Your Opportunity:LPN positions at acute care at Strathmore hospital will be performed in an environment that will challenge the ability to balance varying patient acuity levels and priorities. You will participate in the provision of health care to patients in Acute Care which includes medical/surgical and palliative care patients. The LPN role is responsible for the assessment, planning, care provision and evaluation of the patient in Acute Care. You will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families in a diverse population, focusing on and integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion and maintenance. You will provide safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS. You will follow nursing standards/protocols as required. You are aware that the LPN position requires physical demands including lifting, pulling, pushing, walking, standing, transferring and transporting patients and equipment up to a frequent basis.
