Your Opportunity:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides safe and effective nursing care according to Alberta Health Services (AHS) policies, procedures and nursing standards. Working within the full scope of practice, the LPN assesses, observes, monitors, reports, and documents changes in the client\'s physical, mental, and emotional state, assists the client with activities of daily living and provides the client and family with relevant information and teaching. The LPN provides teaching, support and assignment of care to other team members. The LPN is responsible to collaborate as a member of the health care team within and outside of AHS, delivering consistent quality care, to meet the needs of the client. This position will be based out of the Westview office, but may provide support to home care\'s Suburban/Rural West team, which may include travel to the other home care network offices, as required.
