Alberta Health Services (AHS) is looking for Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team! As a LPN, you will work within a multidisciplinary team and play a key role in the support of an integrated holistic approach to the patient\'s health care, health promotion and health maintenance. Description:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS. PLEASE NOTE: In accordance with Article 14.01 in the AHS/AUPE Auxiliary Nursing Care Collective Agreement, Licensed Practical Nurses shall be paid $27.04/hour - $35.42/hour ($27.58/hour \xc2\xbf $36.13/hour effective April 1, 2023).

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications:

Experience in at least one of the following departments is required: acute care, emergency, continuing care, and psychiatry and a willingness to learn new skills as required. Ability to work shift work and meet the physical demands of the job. Preferred Qualifications:

HCP - BLS, ACLS (or equivalent), and TNCC (or equivalent) is preferred.
