Your Opportunity:
We are looking to add a team of experienced LPN professionals to support the implementation of a Psychiatric Emergency Department in the central zone within Red Deer Regional Hospital Emergency Department. We are looking for individuals passionate about supporting clients and their families through significant addiction and/or mental health crises. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support our clients through the path of care continuum. They will be responsible for bedside care to our patients, liaising with the families and medical team, and being a part of the overall treatment team. As an LPN, you will provide mentorship and leadership within the team environment based on your scope of practice and skill set. An ability to create strong relationships with the patients, families, and our team are a critical asset to this position. You have strong assessment skills, ability to use critical thinking, flexibility, and ability to work in a high paced and acute environment. As this is a new program, you will have interest in program development, providing feedback regarding the program, and be willing to support overall analysis of the program as it is developed. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024.
