Knowledgeable in meeting the needs of a medical patient population, with interest and experience in coronary patient care and teaching. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, to provide quality care to patients, and to report observations. Experience in acute care within the past three years required, experience on medical units required. Required Qualifications:Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Knowledgeable in meeting the needs of medical patient populations, with interest and experience in care and teaching of cardiac and respiratory patients. Experience in acute care within the last three years is essential. Must be up to full scope of practice. Demonstrated commitment to continuing education required.
