The Ponoka Home Care program serves a large area of clients including the community of Ponoka and surrounding areas. We work closely with community groups, other health care services in the community and as part of a multidisciplinary team. As members of the multidisciplinary health care team, Licensed Practical Nurse's working within their scope of practice, collaborate on the delivery of care to meet the needs of clients. LPN's assist with the provision of nursing care to individuals in all developmental stages, contribute to the nursing diagnosis, and participate in nursing interventions and outcomes.
Description:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.
