LPN and RN Responsibilities and Duties:

• Must be willing to travel to 2 of the following communities for 2 hours shifts: Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, and Mission.
• Execute on the client\xe2\x80\x99s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Provide Delegation of Task Training to Care Team to ensure team is well-trained
• Assess client needs and report back to Care Designer with recommendation on complex care plans
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practising safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

Specific Nursing Roles:

• Home Care Nurses: Provide clinical care to our clients, provide Delegation of Task training to the Care Team, perform assessments, and provide nursing care as required. Must have 1+ year nursing experience, including wound care, assessments, vitals tracking, and coordinating care. Flexible schedule with at least 2 days per week (10 hours per week) availability, including weekends and evenings.
• WorkSafeBC role: Open to Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses with availability between Monday - Saturday 9 - 5 PM (or some portion thereof), with 3 years of FTE Nursing experience and desire to do Nursing Assessments/Re-Assessments, monthly written Progress Reports, Delegation of Task Training, and Lift Training for all WorkSafeBC clients and their associated caregivers.
• Facilities Role: provide shift sick and vacation coverage for Facilities who contract with us on an as needed basis. LPNs and RNs desired for 7-3, 3-11, 11-7 7 days per week in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, and Maple Ridge.
• Footcare Nurses (LPN or RN) with Advance Footcare Certification to do footcare for our clients in all communities.

Requirements

• Class 5 Drivers Licence & reliable transportation.
• Double COVID Vaccination required (prefer no single site orders)
• Current LPN or RN licence in BC
• Clear TB test within 2 years
• Current First Aid with CPR
• Strong written and verbal English skills. Other languages an asset.
• Technically savvy with mobile apps and G-suite
• Previous home care nursing experience an asset.
