What You'll Do
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll be an integral part of our care team, delivering skilled nursing support and helping residents live with comfort and dignity:
Provide direct nursing care such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and completing treatments
Assess and monitor residents with complex health needs
Lead and guide Health Care Aides in delivering high-quality care
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and external care providers
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safe, evidence-informed care
Support residents and families in understanding care procedures and treatment plans
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold confidentiality
Practice within full scope as defined by CLPNA standards and facility policies
What You Bring
A diploma from a recognized Licensed Practical Nurse program
Active, unrestricted registration with the
College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
Current CPR/BCLS certification
for healthcare providers
Experience in seniors care or gerontology is an asset
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
A strong commitment to person-centered care and teamwork
Critical thinking, sound judgment, and a compassionate, professional presence
