Job Summary:

We are seeking a

full-time one year contract position

for a compassionate and detail-oriented

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

to join our dynamic multidisciplinary primary health care team. The LPN will play a key role in collaborating with physicians, registered nurses, and medical office assistants in an inclusive healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and document patient vital signs, medical history, and presenting complaints. Administer prescribed medications and vaccinations, monitor for side effects, and document accordingly. Prepare patients for examinations and assist with minor procedures. Assist with administrative tasks including ordering and maintaining office equipment Relaying information and results to patients upon direction from physician Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection (e.g. swabs, urine samples). Support chronic disease management and preventative care efforts. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). Adhere to clinical policies including strict confidentiality agreement, infection control protocols, and licensing regulations.

Qualifications:

Currentregistration with the Association of New Brunswick Licensed Practical Nurses CPR/BLS certification Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a primary care or outpatient setting preferred. Experience and/or certification in foot care an asset Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.

Full-time, no current evening or weekend hours

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: hourly rate based on office LPN pay scale graded for experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.47-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
