Job Summary

We are seeking a hard working, dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Office manager/MOA to join our healthcare team of 4 physicians and growing. The candidate should be able to speak Cantonese. Mandarin speaking would also be an asset. Part-time (2 days/week) is possible but ideally for transition to full-time. The ideal candidate should be a quick-learner with leadership skills to help manage the office/reception as well as perform vaccinations/preparation & minor procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of physicians. Administer vaccines (age 4 and up) and prepare vaccines/draw up medications for physicians Perform minor procedures within scope of practice (e.g. ear flushing), taking vital signs and triaging. Help manage, organize and lead the office including supervising medical office assistants Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic health record systems (We use Medaccess and Oscar EMR) Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans. Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols within the healthcare facility.

Experience

Candidates should possess experience with:

Accredited and licensed Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in British Columbia EMR's such as Medaccess and Oscar Cantonese speaking (mandatory), Mandarin speaking preferred as well Leadership skills Experience working in a team environment/family physician office an asset
