.What We're Looking For:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
with aminimum of three years of experience
Someone who thrives in afast-paced clinical setting
A dedicated professional with astrong work ethic
and the ability to work in ahybrid environment
An individual eager to expand their expertise inalopecia, acne, skin cancer, and other dermatological conditions
while working alongsidedermatologists and dermatology-focused family physicians
A candidate who is interested ingrowing with Lighthouse Dermatology
and sees themselves transitioning intofull-time hours
in the futureKey Responsibilities:
? Conduct
initial assessments
for new and follow-up dermatology patients? Educate patients on
skin conditions, procedures, wound care, and post-care instructions
? Follow up on
test results, treatment plans, and ongoing care
? Capture
high-quality clinical images
for patient records? Monitor and review
lab results
between visits? Triage
referrals and pharmacy/primary care inquiries
? Administer
subcutaneous injections
(e.g., cortisone) and assist incosmetic procedures
(e.g., PRP therapy, Chemical Peels and Hair and Scalp imaging)? Prepare and dilute
medications for injection
(e.g., Botox), and set-up for PRP (platelet rich plasma) therapy.? Perform
various procedures under physician supervision
? Assist in
minor surgical procedures
, includingtray setup and instrument sterilization
? Follow
medical device reprocessing protocols
? Support
quality improvement initiatives
related to patient care? Manage
pathology and microbiology specimens
? Maintain
accurate and timely documentation
usingOSCAR EMR
? Assist
Medical Office Assistants (MOAs)
with administrative tasksQualifications & Requirements:
LPN license (required)
Minimum
three years of clinical nursing experience and experience with phlebotomy.
Experience with:
Surgical tray preparation
Intradermal injections
Phlebotomy experience
Cosmetic injectables
(e.g., Botox & fillers)OSCAR EMR
