Job Description

Duties:

Provide patient care in an OBGYN office setting Measure and record patient vital signs Assist with patient examinations and procedures Clean and turnover exam rooms between patients Assist with equipment cleaning Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, both on paper and electronically including prenatal records and colposcopy Maintain patient confidentiality Communicate with patients via telephone Order medical office supplies
Qualifications:

Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Previous experience in a medical office or hospital setting an asset Prior OB/GYN experience an asset but not required Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to be self-directed, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively Ability to be collegial and a team player
