Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, and home care. As an LPN, you will provide essential patient care, administer medications, and support the healthcare team in delivering high-quality care to patients of all ages.

Duties

Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. Administer medications and monitor patient responses. Assist with daily living activities for patients, including personal hygiene and mobility support. Perform routine medical procedures such as phlebotomy and wound care. Document patient information accurately using electronic health records systems like Epic or Cerner. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans. Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes in patient conditions. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

Valid LPN license in New Brunswick. Experience in nursing home, hospital, or acute care settings is preferred. Familiarity with dementia care, pediatrics, home care, senior care, hospice care, and pain management is a plus. Proficient in medical terminology and medication administration practices. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience with case management or laboratory procedures is advantageous. Pay: $22.53-$31.87 per hour
