Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Job Opportunity (Full-Time): Dermatology Nursing

Job Summary:

Origins Dermatology Centre is a busy, dermatologist-led clinic with a focus on medical dermatology, research, and clinical trials. We are looking for a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our team. This position is primarily part of our research team, however, cross-coverage in the clinic will be required on occasion. Full training will be provided.

Duties Include (but not limited to):

Performing patient visits - vital signs, performing ECG's, assisting physician with patient assessments, assisting with procedures (biopsies, injections, blood collection, patch testing, photography, etc. as delegated), collecting data (medical history, medications, demographics, study specific items), assisting with investigational medication product administration, communicating with patients and study team, reviewing safety reports, reviewing laboratory results alongside physician. Cross-coverage with other nurses on the team.

Essential Education:

- Practical Nursing Diploma - must be registered with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of SK (CLPNS).

Clinic:

Origins Dermatology, 310 Gardiner Park Court, Regina, SK

Hours:

Permanent Full-time; 30-40 hours per week

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday 8AM - 4 PM; coverage may rarely be required outside of these hours

Salary:

Competitive wages, with probationary period of 3 months.

Benefits:

Eligibility for full dental, health, and medication benefits after 6 months.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
