Licensed Practical Nurse

Duties:

Provide direct patient care, including administering medications Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans Responsible for witnessing ingestions and dosing medications in a care facility Participate in discharge planning activities, ensuring patients have appropriate follow-up care arrangements Familiarity with medical coding systems for accurate documentation and billing purposes

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Alternative Weekends 8AM-2PM

Experience:

Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN) in Alberta Must have at least two (2) years of direct experience Proven experience providing patient care in a mental health capacity is preferred Previous experience working with OAT medications and the use of Narcan is preferred Proven experience working in Home Care environment Experience working independently is preferred Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred Familiarity with health coaching principles and strategies
