Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office, providing exceptional administrative support while interacting with patients and staff. This position requires proficiency in electronic medical records and familiarity with medical office procedures.

Duties

Provide assistance to patients over the phone and in-person. Provide administrative support to physicians and clinic staff. Play a key role in organization and operations of the clinic. Ability to manage clinic and patient flow utilizing EMR. Assisting physicians , room preparation and taking vital signs. Instruments autoclaving and sterilization. Processing , submitting and reconciling WCB , Third party and Alberta Health Services billings. Other administrative duties.

Skills and abilities.

Ability to work independently and within a team.

Communication skills (verbal, written and listening).

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
