Requisition Details:

Employment Status: Temporary, Part-time (1.0 FTE), 9-month term
Program Name: Colchester East Hants Visiting Nursing
Number of Hours Bi-Weekly: 75
Work Schedule: Days, evenings, nights, weekends - 10 Hour Shifts, with a weekend rotation
Union/Bargaining Unit: NSNU
Anticipated End Date: September 2024
On Call: No

What you\'ll be doing:

Our LPNs provide medical care to children, youth, adults, and seniors in their homes and other settings in communities across Nova Scotia.

• Diabetes management
• Palliative care
• Wound care; incl. negative pressure wound therapy and complex wounds
• \xe2\x80\xa6.and much more!

What we need from you:

• Must be Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the province of practice
• Experience in community health an asset
• A valid driver\'s license and access to a reliable vehicle is required
• A current and original copy of a satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required and a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or a Child Abuse Registry Check may be required
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
