The CCI is currently recruiting for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our patient focused inpatient team. Using advanced competency skills, the LPN will be responsible for treatment modalities such as central line care and access, delivery of systemic treatment and care of oncology/hematology patients within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be a key member of the team utilizing the Integrated Collaborative Practice model. In joining our progressive team, the LPN will be open to providing and receiving constructive mentorship and to coaching opportunities. The LPN will have proven clinical thinking skills, an ability to prioritize competing demands, work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to ensure the development, implementation, and ongoing administration of client care plans. The LPN will Identify and assess the holistic needs of patients and their families and provide professional nursing care by utilizing nursing processes consistent with the philosophy, objectives, and standards of Cancer Care Alberta and the CANO standards of practice. The CCI provides comprehensive cancer services for Edmonton and Northern Alberta.
