The Drumheller Health Centre provides services to the residents of the town of Drumheller and surrounding communities. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on the interprofessional team, working within your scope of practice, you will: collaborate on the delivery of care to meet the needs of patients. As a Licensed Practical Nurse in Restorative care, you will leverage your knowledge and experience in meeting the care requirements of a geriatric population. You will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of quality care following policies and guidelines of Alberta Health Services. You will provide quality care to residents through the development, implementation and ongoing administration of the client care plans. To be successful you will be self-directed with excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management, and communication skills. You have a willingness to learn new skills as required, through ongoing responsibility for maintaining continuing competence through professional development activities.
