Your Opportunity:Camrose Home Care is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for its Home Care team. Reporting to the Care Manager, Camrose Home Care, you are part of an interdisciplinary team working within the client's residential environment to provide assessments and direct care as well as support the emotional wellbeing and provide comfort to the client. Utilizing your experience in wound care, palliative care and client teaching you will take a collaborative approach to meeting health goals, contribute to the nursing diagnosis and participate in nursing interventions and outcomes. Required Qualifications:Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications:No GDL restrictions. Preferred Qualifications:Minimum of one year Home Care experience. Minimum of one year Acute Care experience. Experience with wound care, palliative care and client teaching. Actively integrates Patient and Family Centered Care principles into practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team. Demonstrates critical thinking, conflict resolution and problem solving skills. Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
