You're an organized, adaptable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is committed to providing excellent patient care. Alberta Health Services (AHS) has a unique opportunity to join the Diagnostic Imaging team at the brand-new, state-of-the-art Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre. Working in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary, multi-modality environment, you will educate and prepare patients who are undergoing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, and provide monitoring and care before, during, and after these procedures. A vital part of the multi-disciplinary team, you will evaluate and respond to the patient's condition and care while in the Diagnostic Imaging Department. In this role, you may rotate through all the imaging areas on site, including interventional radiology, DI recovery, Nuclear Medicine and other modalities as required. In this role, you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities, and populations, while taking necessary steps to ensure patient safety and well-being while in Diagnostic Imaging.
