Reporting to the care manager of the Southern Alberta Forensic Psychiatry Services, the Licensed Practical Nurse will carry out professional duties as assigned including court ordered assessments of individuals facing charges under the Criminal Code of Canada. Nursing duties include one to one interviews, history documentation, medication administration, admission and discharge procedures, attending weekly conferences, facilitation of patient groups, observing patients in all settings, documentation of patient\'s presentations/behaviors and maintaining a safe and secure environment at all times.
