Your Opportunity:Breton Medical Clinic is a family medicine clinic located within the Breton Continuing Care Centre. The LPN will function as an LPN and the Medical Office Assistant, assisting physicians in the day-to-day operation of the clinic. As this clinic may not be operational full-time, the LPN will assist in the LTC department of the facility. Duties included, but are not limited to: book appointments, create new patient records, check patients in, ensure contact information is up-to-date, escort patients to treatment/exam room, clean exam rooms between patients, stock exam rooms, make specialist referrals, set up advanced diagnostic imaging appointments, physician exam chaperone when necessary, track patient results and reports, order office supplies, order clinic supplies and equipment, check and record blood pressures, conduct urinalysis and urine HCG, collect patient weight and height, wound care. Assisting with RAIs, care planning, assessments, IDT meetings and patient care in LTC is a large portion of the LPNs responsibilities.
