If you enjoy a role in providing services to clients in a community-based setting, then this position will be of interest to you. This LPN position provides Case Management to clients living in the Airdrie area. This Designated Float position requires advanced critical thinking abilities and a wide-ranging interventions skill set & experience. In collaboration with the with the interdisciplinary team, the Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible to assess, plan, implement and evaluate the needs of Home Care clients and their caregivers/families. The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for their nursing practice as defined by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). There is also an expectation to be a mobile worker. Possession of a valid drivers' license and access to a motor vehicle in good repair for work related purposes is a requirement of this position. You will be responsible to carry and move equipment, use and operate a laptop computer and mobile phone, and for manual handling (lifting up to 30 lbs., lowering, carrying, pushing and pulling).
