Responsibilities:
Manage daily communication with clients, counsel, insurance adjusters, healthcare providers, and staff.
Review clients' medical documentation and other files in detail.
Handle OCF forms and ensure compliance with the Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS).
Draft letters to various parties, including insurance companies, doctors, OHIP, police, clinics, and defence counsel.
Maintain office files and ensure clients receive the appropriate benefits under SABS, including drafting LAT applications.
Candidate Qualifications:
Experience & Knowledge
: At least 1 year of accident benefits experience, with a solid understanding of SABS and the LAT process.
Work Style
: Able to manage a high-volume, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
Skills
: Strong critical thinking, writing, verbal and written communication, and technical proficiency (Microsoft Office, Outlook).
Organization & Focus
: Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple priorities effectively.
