Position: Paralegal Job Type: Part-Time/Full-Time Hours: Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday (9:00am-5:00pm) Salary: Commensurate with experience Ticket Busters is a trusted traffic ticket defense firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to clients across Ontario. Our team of licensed paralegals are committed to representing clients with professionalism, effectiveness, and affordability. We are currently seeking a licensed paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and possess a strong background in client services. As a paralegal, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day sales and administrative support, including but not limited to the following: Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and active clients
Conduct telephone, and email consultations for prospective and active clients
Schedule client files with accuracy
Ensure confidentiality of all corporate and client information
Communicate professionally with courts, agents, clients, and co-workers
Review and draft legal documents
Manage general correspondence via telephone, email and client portal
Request necessary documentation from the courts
Receive and review disclosures
Conduct legal research
Comply with all corporate policies and procedures
Assist with other clerical duties such as data entry, archiving, and maintaining company records
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must possess a valid Paralegal License
Must be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
Comprehensive understanding of the POA/HTA and Criminal Code of Canada
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of previous paralegal experience
