Licensed Millwrights / Maintenance Mechanics to join our team!

We would also consider apprentices with the appropriate knowledge and experience.

We are seeking key individuals for both day and afternoon shifts (M-F). Overtime is also available.

Job Responsibilities

Perform lock out, tag out procedures and operate in a manner compliant with applicable safety regulations, codes and directives Read, and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematic drawings, and specifications in an effective manner using your knowledge and experience Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, and conveyors according to plans using various tools and equipment Operate hoisting and lifting devices such as cranes, jacks, and forklifts to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up, and repair of machinery Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions Install, troubleshoot, and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and understanding programmable logic controls Select and use various hand and power tools as well as test and measuring devices Adjust, repair or replace defective parts on various pieces of production machinery Proficiently operate various machine shop equipment such as lathes, mills and grinders to fabricate parts Clean, lubricate and perform other routine preventive maintenance work on machinery Proactively inspect and examine machinery and various equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions prior to breakdown Effectively maintain records and documentation

Requirements and Qualifications

Maintenance Mechanic / Millwright license, or recognized completion of millwright apprenticeship and / or 5 years related successful hands-on trade experience Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently Previous experience within the automotive manufacturing industry working on and understanding metal stamping presses (200 - 1000 tons) is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
