Lake of the Woods (LOTW) Aviation is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as a full-time Licensed M1 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) in Kenora, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft. As a Licensed M1 AME the essential job duties will include: \xc2\xb7 Carry out and coordinate the inspection, maintenance, and repair of aircraft and related aircraft systems. \xc2\xb7 Perform troubleshooting on aircraft and carry out corrective action \xc2\xb7 Dismantle and assemble aircraft systems for repair and overhaul \xc2\xb7 Perform work in accordance with all Transport Canada guidelines \xc2\xb7 Completing work orders and filling out logbooks after the completion of maintenance \xc2\xb7 Care and custody of tooling and publications associated with the maintenance function \xc2\xb7 Ensure work area is kept clean and safe, proper use of PPE equipment and recognizing safety as a number one priority \xc2\xb7 Maintain professional work habits and communicate with employees and customers in a professional manner \xc2\xb7 Complete any special projects or other tasks as required or assigned.
