Licensed Sprinkler Fitter

Vulcan Fire & Safety Systems Ltd. is proudly serving our customers in Northwestern Ontario, and we are looking to add to our Thunder Bay team a Licensed Sprinkler Fitter with full time hours.

Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):
- Performing Annual Inspections of Sprinkler Systems and Back Flow Preventors
- Performing Periodic Maintenance, Testing and Inspecting of Sprinkler Systems
- Performing Flow tests for fire pump and fire hydrant systems
- Performing repairs and modifications/alterations to sprinkler systems

- Responding to customer service calls

- Preparation of electronic reports as required for testing and inspection results

Abilities:
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Troubleshooting/problem solve issues with various types of sprinkler systems including air compressors, fire pumps and other system apparatus.

- Effective, dependable and reliable working alone and as a team player
- Estimating materials required for follow-up work
- Detail oriented, able to notice site conditions that may affect ability to complete required work.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with clients, management and co-workers
- Excellent written skills, must have ability to write clear service reports that are professional and easily understood.
- Regular Working hours are Monday to Friday (8am-4:30pm), but should be available to respond to service calls after hours or on weekends.

Qualifications:
- Valid/current Class G Ontario Driver's License with clean abstract
- Licence of Qualifications for Sprinkler Fitter
- Experience performing Sprinkler Inspections, repairs and alterations
