Electrical installation at Residential, Industrial, Agricultural and Commercial.
Duties:
Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing the equipment and electrical faults.
Traveling out to various public and private spaces.
Direct and train apprentices/trade helpers.
Ordering parts as needed.
Read blueprints or technical diagrams.
Working irregular hours and overtime when required.
Loading and unloading construction materials, and moving them to work areas.
Preparing and cleaning up construction/work sites.
Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, brooms, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment.
Pull wire and install electrical devices
Job Duties:
Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in accordance with appropriate codes (e.g., Canadian Electrical Code)
Running tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
Inspecting electrical systems and equipment for damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
Communicating any issues to clients
Managing peers (dividing job tasks, work as a team)
Managing or working with subcontractors
Training apprentices and/or coworkers
Recommending job improvements and alternative methods (problem solving)
Job Duties:
Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
Run tests on electrical components to ensure a safe and effective installation
Inspect electrical systems and equipment for any damage, malfunctions, and safety hazards
Communicate any issues to clients, and discuss payment options and scheduling
